Update – 31/08/2021 – Microsoft will release Windows 11 as a free update for Windows 10 PCs on October 5th

Windows 11 is the latest iteration of the long-running, world-famous operating system from Microsoft. See below for everything you need to know about where and when you can download the newest version of the venerable operating system.

What Is Windows 11?

Windows 11 is the latest iteration of the long-running, world-famous operating system from Microsoft. Previously Microsoft had stated that Windows 10 would be the last iteration of the firmware, though even at the time this was met with some skepticism. Early indications do indicate however that Windows 11 will be more of a streamlining of the existing Windows 10 programming, rather than a complete overhaul, with the majority of changes being to the improved user interface and maximizing utility for tablet and non-desktop users.

See our article covering the official announcement of Windows 11 here for more details.

How much we will have to fork out after this period has passed remains to be seen, as does the MSRP for new Windows users who do not already have Windows 10. As soon as we get any further details we’ll update this page so keep it bookmarked and refreshed!
