Currently, this isn’t even a pre order (where you can actually buy a product ahead of its release), rather a way to reserve the Samsung Galaxy S23, however, signing up to this reserve list guarantees you the earliest possible opportunity to pre-order one of these phones.
Samsung Galaxy S23 pre order & Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra pre order date
The Samsung Galaxy S23 launch will take place at the Galaxy Unpacked 2023 – Part 1 event on the 1st of February 2023.
We expect pre orders to go live on this same date, which the actual release of the device coming in the weeks after – certainly before the end of February. This is of course just an estimate at this stage, and it could be that pre orders go live before this date.

The specifications of the Samsung Galaxy S23 haven’t yet been confirmed, but various tech commentators and respected leakers in the smartphone community have come up with what they believe the S23 loadout will be (though we have less info on the S23+ and S23 Ultra). Samsung Galaxy S23 vs Samsung Galaxy S22
Although the specifications of the Galaxy S23 haven’t been confirmed yet, most predictions assume that it will come with the Gen 2 variant of the Snapdragon 8 processor (rather than Gen 1 in the S22), that its display will be slightly (0.1″) larger in size, that the front-facing selfie camera will be upgraded to 12MP rather than 10MP, and that the PPI of the display will increase to 442 from 425.
Other improvements are also likely to occur.
Is the Samsung Galaxy S23 confirmed?
The Samsung Galaxy S23 has not been officially confirmed yet, but it’s highly highly likely that it will be making an appearance at the Galaxy Unpacked – Part 1 event at the beginning of February.
